Getting Cozy with It!

Now that the days are cooling of (it is currently degrees celsius in Montreal and I am freezing!) I am looking for a little cool weather inspiration and where better to fin it then on our good old friend Pinterest.

Here is a few inspiration photos for the pieces I will be rocking the season.

The leather jacket: Although there are about a gazillion ways the rock a leather jacket, I am like this simple black on black with stripes approach. 

With a big chunky plaid scarf, which also looks lovely.

Adding a leather jacket to the maxi skirts you have been rocking all season is an easy way the transition them into fall.

A plaid shirt for layering: Over sized plaid shirt have been everywhere lately and mostly seen tied around the waist due to the hot summer months. Now the fall is here, I know I'm going to be layering mine under some cozy knits like the inspiration pictures below.

A shiny necklace makes this look quite fancy aven thought it is cozy and comfy!

The faux fur vest: I just love the 70's bohemian feel of a faux fur vest, but like the leather jacket their are so many different ways to wear it.  You will definitely get a bang for your buck with this piece!

This more laid-back look is perfect for a lazy sunday.

And these more dressed up ones will defiantly be something I will try for a night out in the chilly months to come.

My Style: Katniss Everdeen swag

So I'm a little obsessed with the Hunger Games. I have read the books twice and seen both movies in theaters (I actually have seen the first movie in heater twice!) I love Katniss (and Peeta...go team Peeta) she is such a kick a** heroine with great hair lol. Anywhoo I saw these super affordable boots on ModCloth and they made me think of the Hunger Games, so I thought I would put together a little outfit........awwww internet window shopping!

I've been really into to this look lately. There is just something appealing about taking such a casual piece and making it fashionable and chic. Plus I'm a sucker for anything comfy and cozy with the current frigid winter weather.

I would love get/find a quilted one, the subtle pattern seems the add just the right amount of visual interest. Layer on a chunky necklace and your set!

Item of the week: Cheeky Tees

When I laid my eyes on these cheeky tees from the brand Buy Me Brunch in a recent Honestly WTF post, I was sold. Not only does the fit look amazing but I love how simple and fun they are.

This week I'm lusting over this pants from Dynamite. I love the funky print, relaxed style and that they actually have the word soft in their name! *dream*

I already have these pant in a leopard print (see pictures below) which came out earlier this year and, in my eyes, they are pretty close to perfect. I just might need to pickup this pair as well...

Tough girl.

For my first post I'm going to share my fall obsession. Lately I have been really drawn to anything faux leather (leggings, coats, skirts, boots and any leather details.) My obsession even has its own board on Pinterest! I'm really feeling the more tough vibe  of leather and  I like mixing it with girler accents ( like a sparkly statement necklace, soft feminine hair and light makeup). Since I always shop on a budget, I have been on the hunt for "cheap" pieces that well don't look cheap..ha. So far, I have pick up some pretty neat items from Forever21 and Dynamite. I have seen some great pieces at Zara that where moderately price as well. Here or some of my inspiration when styling my pieces.

 Love the way this motorcycle jacket spices up a really simple outfit and the look is super easy the recreate.

 This is a really awesome outfit, the leather skater skirt and the cozy crop top are perfection.
